Product Description
Copper on Steel (Immersion Copper for Stee)l is a Triple-S Product designed to develop a copper color on different steel alloys. This solution is a non-chromate, non-cyanide liquid to produce a thin copper layer on steel at room temperature in approximately 5-10 seconds. It is widely used on lighting fixtures, lamps, sculptures, gift items, etc… The surface will not chip or peel off.
Procedures:

Clean the part with Cleaner 104. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry. Apply Copper on Steel solution with a brush or spray for 5-10 seconds. Rinse thoroughly with water and allow to dry. You can turn this Copper to Pewter or Blue Green or Green Patinas by spraying Pewter Look, Green Verde #444, Blue Green Verde #445 or Blue Verde #11 on top of the Copper on Steel. (A couple of layers of Copper on Steel might be necessary if you wish to add a patina to the Copper on Steel Rinse thoroughly with over flowing cold water to stop chemical reaction. It is recommended to protect the finish with a clear lacquer (e.g., WSL-55 or AL-70)
